Stephanie Lundy-Bryan - Rainbow Yoga Club Hertford
Stephanie (Studio Founder, Vinyasa, Pregnancy Yoga and Postnatal Yoga teacher) will be teaching our Rainbow Yoga Club classes in Hertford on the first Friday of each month at her beautiful studio just above the Coffee Lab in Hertford. You can expect a totally relaxing evening of gentle yoga (suitable for all abilities) followed by delicious cakes and gorgeous goodies to take home with you.
Friends from age 11, like many people we drifted after university.
It wasn’t until Sophie M posted on social media about infertility and baby loss that we reconnected over our shared experiences. Both keen to create a community in Essex to support other women going through similar issues, and to eat lots of cake.
Looking forward to meeting you soon,
Sophie M & Sophie H
Hello, I’m Nicola
I live close to Richmond Park and you will find me there most weeks either walking, running, cycling or deer spotting!
My husband and I unfortunately lost our baby boy Noah at 17 weeks in 2018 and I then suffered massively with my mental health following the trauma and change of hormones that I went through after his birth.
I have always had a passion for health and well-being so knew that running (and yoga) would be vital in my recovery and as a result I luckily recovered quickly.
Having experienced the positive effects of exercise first hand, I now make it part of my weekly routine and look forward to encouraging others to do the same in beautiful Richmond Park or simply just coming along for a walk, some delicious cake and a natter. x x’
I'm Harriet, mother of two boys - Theo who is three and Rowan who died shortly after he was born last year.
I started running again after Rowan died and I signed up to the Brighton marathon after convincing myself that nothing could be as hard as losing my son!
I find running a meditative experience, where I can connect to the earth and calm my mind. I firmly believe that running can assist with mental well-being through difficult times in our lives.
I look forward to running with you soon... or just stuffing our faces with cake!
“Hi, I’m Ruth & I live with my lovely husband Philip & our grumpy black cat Gatsby. We got married in 2009 and despite my diagnosis of PCOS several years previously assumed that it wouldn’t take us that long to have children, but here we are, still trying to bring a baby home.
After a massive effort to control my PCOS and sprinkle of modern medicine we finally conceived in 2019, our little girl was born in September, far too early for her tiny body to survive, we had to say goodbye to her 2 hours after she was born.
Since then I’ve been coping by walking, swimming and occasionally oversharing on Instagram, you can find me @rhubarbandpip"
I'm Holly. For those of you that don't know me yet, here's a little bit about me and my journey so far. I am married to my lovely husband and am mother to our fur baby Lola. I have nieces and nephews and several godchildren, all of which I am very privileged to be close to.
I love travelling, camping, paddle boarding and generally have adventures. I love gin and chocolate and of course, coffee and cake. I love being with my family and friends, they are my world.
I work in education, specifically with teenagers with behavioural difficulties and although it can be all encompassing, its one of the most rewarding things I have ever done.
I am 30 years old and have spent the last 3 years trying to have a baby. It has led to some pretty intrusive and difficult times and we have recently started our fertility journey with UHCW. I have been diagnosed with Endometriosis and I also have one blocked tube. We have now started our IVF journey and we are fully embracing everything that comes with it. Including the raging hormones!
Writing has always helped me through times of crisis and so I have my own Instagram page @howdoyoulikeyoureggs9 and I also support Lucy with the fabulous Rainbow Running Club, come down and join us and keep up to date with new events on Lucys page.
I'm Emma and I live in North Yorkshire with my husband Adam and son Albie. After a six year battle with miscarriage, infertility and three rounds of IVF abroad we set up www.yourivfabroad.co.uk to help and support others to have treatment overseas.
I am keen to build a community locally that provides support to women around baby loss and infertility. I enjoy walking, cake and meeting new people so I knew this was the perfect club for me. I promise that no one will be left to walk/jog/run on their own, there will be no pressure to talk about anything in particular and everyone will be made to feel so welcome.
My very good friend Laura who supported me through all of the above will be helping me to run the group, she is gorgeous and you will love her like I do.
Please have a read of the FAQs on the site and if you have any further questions please do let me know. I look forward to meeting and getting to know you.
Love Emma x

HELEN DAVENPORT- Rainbow Yoga Club Manchester.
"I have been practicing yoga for over fifteen years and have recently trained to become a yoga teacher through the Yoga Life Project. Yoga has offered me a space to find ‘inner stillness’ through posture work, meditation and deep relaxation.
I lead the Northern Sky Yoga Club and offer an eclectic mix of Hatha and other influences such as Yin and Yoga Nidra. The emphasis is always on gentleness and exploration.
I have been an educator in primary early years classrooms and as a University Senior Lecturer in Education for twenty years – it is now a privilege to be able to take my teaching philosophies into the yoga studio.
It is important to me that my classes are accessible and inclusive, with total beginners always welcome. My underpinning ethos is that yoga really is for everyone.
I am currently immersed in studying yoga for fertility."
Hi I’m Claire.
A mum to two lovely little boys and I also have seven little stars who I, sadly, never got the chance to meet.
I’m a Run Leader with a Sheffield running club and really enjoy lacing up and getting outside.
Hope you can join us for our first Rainbow Running Club Run in Sheffield.
Hello, my name is Kerry, I am 47 and live in Woodseats, Sheffield. I have two adopted children who are now teenagers and driving me to distraction! I am a bereavement services manager for our local maternity unit. Running for me is often about clearing my head and having 'me' time but likewise I love to meet other people who enjoy this same passion and encourage those at the beginning of their running journey. Looking forward to meeting you soon.
